Description:

While primarily known as a semi-automatic only variant of the famous M14 military rifle, Springfield Armory is known to have made a limited number of M1A rifles compatible with the selective fire hardware of the M14; very little separates this rifle from the original military battle rifle save the receiver markings. Blade front and peep rear sights, with "WCE" elevation and "WRIGHT" windage drums. The receiver is bedded into the stock, with the proper "A" marked selector switch and transfer bar on the right side. Unmarked hardwood stock, rubber buttplate and a flip-up shoulder rest. A hand-marked matching Springfield box (noted as being an "M1A-E2" model with "Select Fire" note) is included.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 97% plus original gray finish, showing light handling and cycling marks. The stock is in equal condition. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
