The shotgun barrel has a 2 3/4 inch chamber and choke constriction of .035 inches. The coin finished bolstered boxlock action displays scroll engraving surround a roaring red stag and two hinds on the left and a dog and mallard scene on the right. The gun features double triggers and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered three-piece forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with shadowline cheekpiece and leather covered recoil pad. Included is a set of matching numbered 28 inch 16 gauge barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers and choke constrictions of .028/.032 inches. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish, 95% plus original coin finish, some minor discoloration in the coin, minor handling evidence, a few marks in the wood, and sharp checkering on the wood. The scope optics are sharp. The case is very fine. Mechanically excellent.
