The coin finished sidelock action shows floral scroll engraving with relief carved oak leaves on the fences. The gun features double triggers (front articulated), bushed firing pins, and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and Anson button release, and pistol grip stock with ventilated rubber recoil pad. Includes a second 28 3/8 inch 12 gauge barrel set with matching number and 2 3/4 inch chambers and later (1983) proofs. Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, some light oil discoloration in the coin, and sharp checkering on the wood. The extra barrel set is very fine. Mechanically excellent.
