U.S. Smith & Wesson Second Model Schofield
Single Action Revolver - Serial no. 3206,
45 S&W Schofield cal., 5 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured
for the U.S. military circa 1876-77 with a total production approximately 5,934. The period shortened barrel has a blade
front sight. “US” (faint) is marked on the butt, U.S. Ordnance sub- inspector stamps “W” and “P” are on the rear of the cylinder and underside of the barrel lug, and matching serial numbers are
on butt, right grip panel, and cylinder. This revolver is from the collection of world
famous American country singer and song writer Hank Williams Jr. and includes a certificate of authenticity confirming his ownership. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 40% original blue finish with a smooth brown-gray patina on the balance. Traces of original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger guard. The grips are also fine with minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action First Model Target Revolver - Serial no. 32365, 44 S&W Russian cal., 6
inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, hard rubber grips. Introduced in 1881. Standard markings and features including the
correct length 1 7/16 inch cylinder and matching serial numbers on the barrel, barrel latch, cylinder, right grip panel,
and butt. This revolver is from the collection of world famous American country singer and song writer Hank Williams Jr. and includes a certificate of authenticity confirming his ownership.
CONDITION: Very fine, retaining 80% original blue finish, some areas of spotting mostly concentrated on the cylinder, and
most of the finish wear on the grip straps. The grips are also very fine with light wear, brownish hue, and worn but well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action First Model Revolver with Box - Serial no. 28743, 44 S&W Russian cal., 4 inch solid rib bbl., blue
finish, hard rubber grips. Introduced in 1886. Matching serial numbers on the barrel latch, barrel, cylinder, and right grip panel. Pinned round
blade front sight with service rear sight and correct 1 7/16 inch cylinder. This revolver is from the collection of country music icon Hank Williams Jr. and includes a certificate of authenticity confirming his ownership. Also included is the correct model factory pasteboard box numbered “28745”, which is just two digits off this revolver. Likely a mix-up that could have occurred at the point of original shipment or once in the initial distributor’s inventory if both guns were present at the same time.
CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 75% plus original blue finish, areas showing some brown patination, and much of the loss concentrated on the cylinder. The grips have taken on a brown hue, a
few minor dings and scratches, and worn but well-
defined checkering. The box is very fine with some mild wear. Mechanically excellent.
