Single Action Revolver with Rare 6 Inch Barrel
- Serial no. 33050, 44 S&W Russian cal., 6 inch solid
rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured from 1873-78. The rare non-standard original 6 inch barrel has the one-line
rib address/patent dates marking ending with “RUSSIAN MODEL” followed by “REISSUE/JULY 25, 1871.” The Schuyler Hartley Graham distributor diamond “SH” marking is stamped on the butt. The right grip panel is numbered to the gun. Matching assembly numbers appear on the grip frame, cylinder, barrel and barrel latch. This revolver is from the collection of world famous American

Model Single Action Revolver with Factory Letter - Serial
no. 9604, 44 S&W Russian cal., 8 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. The accompanying factory letter confirms the 8 inch
barrel, blue finish and smooth walnut grips. The revolver was likely
shipped on June 10, 1872 and delivered to M.W. Robinson Co., New
York City. The barrel rib legend ends with “RUSSIAN MODEL.” The right
grip panel is numbered to the gun. Matching assembly numbers
on the grip frame, cylinder, barrel and barrel latch. This revolver is
from the
collection
of world
famous
American
country singer and song writer Hank Williams Jr. and includes a certificate of authenticity confirming his ownership as well as the aforementioned factory letter, which is addressed to him.
CONDITION: Fine, retaining 70% original blue finish with a smooth dark gray patina on the balance. Some original case colors remain on the hammer, and the trigger guard has faded to a silver gray. Lanyard swivel removed. The grips are very good with a couple tiny chips at the bottom, high edge wear and minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

Smith & Wesson New Model No. 3 Single Action
Revolver - Serial no. 34768, 44 S&W Russian cal., 6 1/2
inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. The left side of
the barrel has rarely encountered caliber marking “44 S&W CTG” and
the top of the barrel rib has the one-line address marking. Pinned blade
front sight and a notch rear sight on the catch. The matching serial number
is stamped on the butt, rear cylinder face, barrel and catch. Blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger guard. Fitted with desirable checkered walnut grips.
CONDITION: Fine. The revolver retains 70% original blue finish thinning to a mixed gray/brown patina at the muzzle, grip straps, frame and exposed edges. The trigger guard and hammer retain 97% vivid original case colors. The grips are excellent with some very scattered minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.

Smith & Wesson New Model No. 3 Target Single Action
Revolver - Serial no. 1466, 38-44 cal., 6 1/2 inch solid rib bbl.,
blue finish, hard rubber grips. The New Model No. 3 Target Model
dominated target competitions in the late 1800s, and are found in
the serial number range below 4,333. Of the 4,333 target variations
manufactured, only 1,413 were chambered in .38-44 caliber. It has target sights, two-line barrel rib markings, and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, 1 7/16 inch cylinder, barrel and barrel latch.
CONDITION: Fine, retaining 60% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. Slight traces of original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger guard. The grips are also fine with some minor handling marks and some wear along the top of the checkering. Mechanically excellent.

44 S&W Russian cal., 8 inch solid rib bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. The
accompanying factory letter confirms the 8 inch barrel, blue finish and smooth
walnut grips. The revolver was shipped on December 12, 1872 and delivered to
M.W. Robinson Co., New York City. This shipment was for 60 Russian Models and
140 American Models. The barrel rib legend ends with “RUSSIAN MODEL.” The
right grip panel is numbered to the gun. Matching assembly marks are on the
grip frame, cylinder, barrel and barrel latch. This revolver is from the collection
of world famous American country singer and song writer Hank Williams Jr.
and includes
a certificate of

walnut stock extension designed for use with
S&W Model 320 Revolving Rifle. It has blued
attaching hardware and a checkered S&W hard
rubber buttplate.
CONDITION: Very good. Strong traces of original blue finish remain on the attaching hardware, otherwise a smooth dark brown patina. The walnut shows minor ding and scratches. The checkering on the buttplate remains crisp overall. Don’t miss your chance to acquire an often missing S&W accessory.
