U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1911
Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no. 114076,
45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in late-1914 or
early-1915, in the third assigned serial number
block listed for Springfield Armory, this is a solid representative example
of a U.S. Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Springfield
Armory for the United States military and features the distinctive armory
dull blue finish. The left side of the slide has the standard three-line Colt patent dates
and two-line “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY/U.S.A.” markings in two blocks, as well as an ordnance
bomb behind the serrations. The right side of the slide is marked with the Department
of Defense eagle and “MODEL OF 1911.U.S. ARMY.” The left side of the frame has the U.S.
property marking and an ordnance bomb near the trigger guard, and the serial number is
marked on the right. The barrel is marked “SP” on the left of the lug and “S.A.811N” on the
underside. Features blade and notch sights, checkered wide
hammer, short grip safety, and a smooth straight mainspring
housing with a lanyard ring. It is fitted with a pair of correct
checkered, large diamond pattern, walnut grips and a correct
two-tone magazine with correct “wrap around”
lanyard ring base.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 70% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having mostly thinned to a smooth brown patina and some cold blue touch up visible on the slide. The grips are fine with rounded out screw holes, a few scattered light scratches and light blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. U.S. Property Marked World War II Colt Model
1908 Pocket Hammerless Semi-Automatic Pistol
- Serial no. 135485, 380 ACP cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue
finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1942 with standard markings as well
as the rare and desirable “U.S. PROPERTY” marking on the right side of the
frame and an “M” in front of the serial number. It is fitted with blade front
and flat top notch rear sights, and checkered grips
with Colt medallions. This pistols serial number falls
between two identified General Officer’s pistols,
serial numbers 135483 and 135487.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 85% plus of the
original blue finish with a small area of touch-up on
the left side of the slide, some scattered light spotting, and some light edge wear. The
grips are also very fine with a few scattered minor blemishes in the overall crisp checkering.
Mechanically excellent.

1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no.
1206183, 45 ACP cal., 5 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, plastic grips.
Manufactured in 1943, during the height of World War II. The left side of
the slide is marked with the two-line/two-block address separated by the
Rampant Colt, “G.H.D.” inspected frame
with “K/VP” proof, matching “P” proofs
on the frame and slide, and standard
U.S. property and army nomenclature
on the right of the frame. Fitted with
blade and notch sights, checkered
slide catch, thumb safety, and narrow
hammer, long grip safety, and arched
serrated mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Fitted with a full blue “S” marked magazine, full blue barrel with “COLT 45 AUTO” and “G” on the bottom and “P” on the lug, and reinforced checkered grips.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, as issued, retains 99% plus of the original parkerized finish with some scattered very light slide retraction/takedown marks. The grips are excellent with only the slightest handling marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Rand Model 1911A1 Semi-Automatic
Pistol - Serial no. 1902161, 45 ACP cal., 5
inch round bbl., parkerized finish, plastic
grips. Manufactured in 1944. The left of the
slide has the two-line Remington-Rand address, “P” proof on top, and the frame is marked with the standard U.S. property and army nomenclature on the right with the serial number
while the left has an “FJA” inspection
mark and “P” proof. Fitted with blade
and notch sights, checkered narrow
hammer, long grip safety, arched
serrated mainspring housing, full blue
barrel with “P” and “HS” lug, reinforced
grips, and parkerized “S” magazine.
CONDITION: Excellent, as issued, retains
99% of the original parkerized finish with some very light edge slide retraction wear. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Colt First Series Woodsman Match Target Semi-
Automatic Pistol - Serial no. MT16516, 22 LR cal., 6 5/8 inch slab
sided bbl., blue finish, plastic grips. Manufactured in 1944, this is one of
approximately only 4,000 Colt Woodsman Match Target pistols produced
for the U.S. military during World War II. Blade front and fully adjustable notch rear
sights, with the “MATCH/(bullseye)/TARGET” marking on the left rear of the barrel, the slide marked “COLT” next to the caliber markings and Rampant Colt, and “THE WOODSMAN/U.S. PROPERTY” on the left side of the frame. The trigger guard is marked “e/VP”, the “MT” serial number down the front strap, extended, checkered plastic grips, and full blue magazine marked “COLT WOODSMAN/CAL. 22 L.R./MATCH TARGET MOD.”
on the base.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% plus of the original blue
finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth
grey patina, primarily on the grips straps and some edges, and
some spotting on the top of the barrel and slide. The grips
are excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp
checkering. Mechanically excellent.

Exceptional U.S. Property Marked World
War II Production Colt Model 1903 Pocket
Hammerless Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial no.
568569, 32 ACP cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., parkerized finish,
walnut grips. Manufactured in 1943 with “U.S. PROPERTY” mark on the
right side of the frame. Matching number slide and frame. Introduced
as a commercial pistol, the 1903 was
adopted by the U.S. military after
proving a commercial success and
became the standard sidearm for
General Officers during WWII and was
issued into the 1970s. Although this
pistol’s serial number falls in the middle
of known General Officer pistols, it is not identified as such
(568564 and 568573 are identified).
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original parkerized finish with a few scattered light handling marks. The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp grip checkering.
Mechanically excellent.
