The former describes
it as follows: “This
camouflaged M-42
helmet bears the
maker stamp “ckl” in the rear skirt, signifying the helmet was made at the ‘ET’ factory
after late 1943. The finish is in the standard ‘ET’ dark green rough texture paint, over-
sprayed in a base coat of medium green, with dark tan splashes. This color scheme
closely resembles the spring camouflage pattern of SS smocks and helmet covers...
The decal is the standard ‘ET’ factory issue runic shield.” It features the integral vent
grommets and unrolled edge of the 1942 pattern stahlhelm. The SS black-on-silver “Sig
Runes” shield decal, is fitted to the right side. The helmet skirt is stamped “ckl164/2768” in
the rear, with brown leather webbing stamped “54” and an unmarked brown and black leather chinstrap.
CONDITION: Good, with over 70% of the camouflage finish, showing a number of scratches, edge wear, and areas of exposed base steel. The webbing and chinstrap remain good, with some stains and cracks.

Excellent Walther Party Leader PPK Semi-Automatic Pistol - Serial
no. 958093, 7.65 mm cal., 3 3/4 inch round bbl., blue finish, plastic grips.
Known officially as the “Honor Weapon of the Political Leaders,” PPK pistols
with these special grips were presented to NSDAP officials for meritorious
party service. Fixed sights, the Walther banner, two -line address and patents,
and “Mod.PPK” on the left side of the slide, pre-1940s commercial “crown/N”
proofs on the slide, chamber and muzzle, and matching numbers on the steel frame and inside the slide. The brown plastic, one piece, wrap around grips are checkered and have the NSDAP eagle holding a wreath encircled swastika insignia cast on the top of the both sides, and the magazine is fitted with a flat steel floorplate. With extra magazine and Robert Simpson authentication letter.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 97% plus of the original blue finish, showing light handling marks and minor edge wear on the top right forward slide. 90% plus bright original nitre blue remains on the safety lever. A few tiny nicks and a vertical hairline crack are both visible on the otherwise fine grip, which has fine detail in the eagles. Mechanically excellent.
