is signed “Engr. by/JAMES B. MEEK”. Includes a renumbered Colt “woodgrain” box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall as
embellished by James B. Meek.
Retaining 99% plus professionally refinished blue finish with minimal handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with storage and handling marks and a tear on the top.

John Adams Jr. Signed Engraved Colt Model 1861 Navy Percussion Revolver with Case - Serial no. 43026, 36 cal., 7 1/2 inch round bbl., bright finish, smooth grips. Standard markings with nearly 75% coverage floral scroll engraving with an anchor on either side
of the barrel, a birds head
intertwined with the engraving
on either side of the frame, and
a wolf’s head hammer. John
Adams Jr.’s signature “JA” is found mixed in with a flourish of floral engraving and bands at the
muzzle. Fitted with grips by Dan Chesiak. Includes a Colt Blackpowder series box hand numbered
to the revolver and a blue velvet lined Colt hardwood case containing a patriotic themed powder
flask, Colt’s patent bullet mould, combination tool, and cap tin.
CONDITION: Excellent as embellished by John Adams, with limited handling marks and a tiny
patch of oxidation at the base of the front sight. Grips are very fine with a hairline tension crack on the left side, and attractive coloration and grain. Mechanically excellent. The case and all accessories are very fine with limited storage and handling marks.

Cased Engraved and Gold Inlaid Pair of Consecutively Collector Serialized Colt Blackpowder Series Third Model Dragoon Revolvers with Accessories -A) Colt Third Model Dragoon Revolver - Serial no. DRAG001, 44 cal., 7 1/2 inch part round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, smooth grips. Both revolvers feature near full coverage floral scroll and wavy line engraving on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, and back strap with a gold band at the muzzle and rear of the
ound portion of the barrel and a gold inlaid perimeter on the barrel flats and sides of the frame. The revolvers also eature consecutive collector serial numbers “DRAG001” and “DRAG002” respectively. Includes a green velvet lined Colt” hardwood partition case with six compartments containing a cap tin, Colt Patent two cavity bullet and ball
mould, “L” shaped combination tool, and Colt’s Patent martial themed powder flask.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, an attractive patina on the back strap and trigger guard, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with storage and handling marks, loose partitions, and high edge wear on the lining. B) Colt Third Model Dragoon Revolver - Serial no. DRAG002, 44 cal., 7 1/2 inch part round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, smooth grips. See “A”. CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, an attractive patina on the backstrap and triggerguard, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent.
