Black Box and Factory Letter - Serial no. 5578SA, 45 LC cal., 5
1/2 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips.
Manufactured in 1956. The included factory letter lists this revolver
as having a 5 1/2 inch barrel chambered in .45 Colt, blue finish, and
grips not listed when shipped to Glen Allen & Company in Tulsa,
Oklahoma on July 24, 1956. Includes original Colt black box.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue finish with some mild handling marks, light cylinder drag lines, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with some storage and handling marks and a split lid corner.

CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus original blue finish and 97% plus case colors with some minor handling marks light cylinder drag lines, some gray patina on thinned grip straps, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is fair with storage and handling marks, a glue repair, and some peeling.

CONDITION: Very fine overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with a tiny patch of pitting on the bottom of the back strap near the screw, light traces of cylinder drag lines and a couple tiny chips on
he attractively aged grip. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with storage and handling marks and a split corner on the lid.
