Exceptional Pre-World War II Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Attractive Carved Pearl Grips - Serial no. 347975, 32 WCF cal., 5 1/2 inch bbl., blue/casehardened finish, carved pearl grips. This Colt Single Action Army revolver was manufactured circa
1925. The revolver has the Colt commercial blue finish on the barrel, ejector housing, cylinder, trigger guard and back strap. The frame, hammer and loading gate are color casehardened. The trigger, frame screws and grip screws have a fire blue finish. The two-piece, checkered, black, hard rubber grips are embossed with the Rampant Colt motif in an oval. The top of the barrel is roll- stamped: “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.”. The left side of the barrel is roll-stamped with the caliber designation”32 W.C.F.” The left side of the frame is roll-stamped with the Colt “Three-Date/Two-Line” patent marking followed by the Rampant Colt trademark. The left front trigger guard bow is stamped with the “Triangle/VP” proof mark below a “3” assembler’s mark. The assembly number “796” is stamped on the inside of the loading gate and on the right shoulder of the frame. The serial number is stamped on the bottom of the frame and on the right side of the back strap and trigger
guard beneath the grips. The partial serial number “75” is stamped on the rear face of the cylinder. The grips are raised relief carved steerhead pearls with ruby eyes that are of the period. All of the visible serial numbers match. CONDITION: Excellent. The revolver retains 98% plus of the bright original blue, vivid color casehardened and fire blue finish. The frame, hammer and loading gate have vivid case colors. There are spots of surface oxidation visible ahead of the ejector rod housing and butt. All of the markings are perfect. Mechanically excellent. The slightly oversized replacement period pearl grips are extremely fine with a small chip on the bottom of the left grip. This is an outstanding example of a 1925 production Colt Single Action Army revolver! Estimate: 9,000 - 14,000

Excellent Colt Bisley Model Single Action Revolver - Serial no. 246449, 32 WCF cal., 4
3/4 inch round bbl., blue/casehardened finish, hard rubber grips. This is an excellent example manufactured in 1903, with the short 4 3/4 barrel, whereas most Bisleys had the long barrel for target shooting. The top of the barrel has the short two line markings “COLT’S PT.F.A.MFG.CO./ HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.---”, with the left side of the barrel roll-stamped “(BISLEY MODEL) 32 W.C.F.” The left side of the frame has the Colt three-patent date, two-line markings followed by the circled Rampant Colt trademark, the loading gate is stamped “2498” and matching serial numbers are stamped on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and the back strap. Grips are checkered hard rubber with Rampant Colt logos at the top.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 90% plus of the original blue finish with wear on the muzzle, ejector rod head and muzzle end of the ejector rod housing, some thinning on the housing, a gray patina on the grip straps and scattered handling marks. 95% of the original vivid case colors
are present, most vivid in the protected areas with the recoil shield turning bright. Grips are
also excellent, with some very minor scuffing on the bottom edges and sharp checkering. The markings remain crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
