the floorplate and triggerguard, with a gold inlaid cape buffalo on the floorplate, gold inlaid geometric border on the scene and bottom metal with “SAFARI/CLASSIC” in gold. The bottom of the floorplate features a gold inlaid African continent and “Big 5”. The rifle also features a knurled bolt handle, engraved crossbolts, and jeweled bolt. Mounted in a checkered, nicely figured, pistol grip stock with black rubber recoil pad. Includes certificate of authenticity listing the features of the rifle, original box
and a generic hard case.
CONDITION: Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish
with limited handling marks, crisp engraving, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. inlaid scrolls as well as a gold inlaid whitetail deer with a gold border, gold inlaid Winchester Logo, and gold inlaid “WSM/270”. The rifle also features
a smooth bolt handle, engraved crossbolt, and jeweled bolt. Mounted in
a checkered, nicely figured, pistol grip stock with steel grip cap and black rubber recoil pad. Includes non-matching factory box and
a generic hard case.
