LOT 1528 Wise Lite Arms Model AJM 53 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Accessories - Serial no. WLA29-7556, 7.92 mm Mauser cal., 21 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, hardwood stock, plastic grips. This is an excellent semi- automatic only copy of the very desirable WWII MG-42 machine gun as manufactured by Wise Lite Arms of Boyd, Texas. This weapon has the same outward appearance, weight and feel as an original fully automatic MG, only in the semi-automatic mode. The AJM 53 utilizes a combination of new- made commercial and some military surplus components that functions and fires from a closed-bolt. It has a folding front and adjustable tangent leaf rear sight just like the originals with a stamped and welded receiver. The left rear side of the receiver is marked in five lines: “WISE LITE ARMS/BOYD, TX/MOD. AJM-53/WLA29-7556/8MM MAUSER”. The top of the receiver under the feed tray cover is also marked to only use military spec ammo and not commercial grade ammunition. Includes an extra barrel in a metal carry can, three belt carrier drums, non-disintegrating cartridge belt links, a wooden ammunition crate, and a bipod. CONDITION: Very fine as assembled in semi-automatic configuration, retains 95% plus of the blue finish with some scattered light wear. The buttstock is slightly loose with some minor dings and chips and a couple hairline cracks. Mechanically excellent. The accessories are fine or better with some showing mild wear. LOT 1529 TNW Inc. Semi-Automatic Copy of World War II German MG-34 with Accessories - Serial no. 8062, 7.92 mm Mauser cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This is a semi-automatic only copy of the very desirable World War II MG-34 machine gun that was manufactured by TNW Inc. of Vernonia, Oregon. This weapon has the same outward appearance, weight and feel as an original fully automatic MG, only it fires in the semi-automatic mode. It utilizes a combination of original World War II MG-34 parts combined with some new-made commercial parts and a fully machined receiver that fires in a closed-bolt semi-automatic mode only. It has an air cooled shrouded barrel and various original Waffenamt proofed parts. Fitted with a serrated bakelite grip, hardwood buttstock, folding sights, and folding bipod. Includes two belt drums with carrier and non-disintegrating cartridge belt links. CONDITION: Very good as assembled in semi-automatic configuration, retains 85% plus of the blue finish with some scattered patches of light wear and a patch of moderate pitting on the right of the buttstock collar. The grips and stock are fine with some chips and cracks. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 5,000 - 8,000
