   LOT 1041 Excellent Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle in .22 Long - Serial no. 542347A, 22 L cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1915. Winchester beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, fifth style barrel inscription, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, “22 LONG” caliber marking on upper left barrel flat at the breech, Third
Model receiver with exposed locking lugs, standard markings on the upper tang, and matching serial numbers on the lower tang and receiver.
12 groove slide handle and smooth straight grip stock with blue steel crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent with 90% plus blue finish, slightly light caliber marking, some flaking and brown patina on the magazine tube, mild edge wear and cycling marks on the receiver, and a patch of brown patina and surface pitting on the trigger guard. The wood is very fine with scattered small dings, rougher patch near the toe, and edge wear on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,250 - 4,750
LOT 1042 Excellent Winchester Model 90 Slide Action Rifle in .22 Short with Round Barrel - Serial no. 853848, 22 RF Short cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. This is an excellent example of one of the last Model 90’s produced by Winchester. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, standard round barrel markings, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, Third Model receiver with
exposed locking lugs, and matching numbers on the receiver and lower tang. 12 groove slide handle and smooth straight grip stock with
blue steel crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent with 98% plus original blue finish on the barrel and receiver, light handling and cycling marks, and touched up hammer spur. The wood is also excellent with some small dings and scratches, and some edge wear visible on the blued buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,000 - 4,500

First Year Production Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle - Serial no. 2795, 22 WRF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1932 and subsequently upgraded to current configuration. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, first style barrel inscription, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, matching numbers on the receiver and trigger guard assembly, smooth round top receiver, smooth trigger and checkered hammer catch, and factory drilled and tapped upper tang with flip up peep sight. 11 groove slide handle and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine as professionally restored/upgrade to current configuration with 90% refinished blue finish, evidence of bluing on the muzzle, some small scratches, and slide retraction wear on the flats. The refinished wood is also fine with some small dings and refinished buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,500 - 7,000

Winchester Model 61 Slide Action Rifle in Scarce .22 Winchester Magnum with Box - Serial no. 328546A, 22 Winchester magnum RF cal., 24 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. The Model 61 was developed by Winchester in an attempt to keep pace with its competitors hammerless .22 rifles. Model 61s were produced from 1932 to 1963, this variation (Magnum) was only produced from 1960 to 1963 with this example manufactured in 1962. Dovetailed, beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, standard barrel markings and Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, grooved receiver top for scope mounting, and serrated trigger and hammer catch. 17 groove slide handle and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate. Includes box renumbered to match rifle. CONDITION: Very fine with 98% original blue finish, and just a few very small surface scratches. The refinished wood is also very fine with some small dings and scratches visible at the toe. Mechanically excellent. Box is good with corner and edge wear overall, some staining, and fading.
