    LOT 665 Desirable Ruger AC-556K Selective Fire Class III/NFA Fully Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 191-05184, 223 cal., 13 inch round bbl., stainless steel finish, hardwood stock. Marketed to law enforcement and foreign military clients, the AC-556 family of weapons is the Mini-14 223 caliber rifle configured as a factory original selective fire machine gun. Fitted with a birdcage flash hider, blade and adjustable peep sights and standard receiver markings. The selector switch is positioned on the right rear of the receiver, with positions for semi-automatic, three round burst, and full automatic. Smooth hardwood stock, with vented synthetic upper cover, checkered pistol grip and folding metal buttstock. A soft case is included. CONDITION: Excellent, with mostly bright original stainless steel finish, showing some light scattered scratches on the receiver and the trigger housing and minor handling marks overall. The stock shows mild dents and scratches on the otherwise fine wood, and a small amount of spotting inside the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Springfield Armory Inc. M1A Full Automatic Battle Rifle, Class III/NFA Registered Transferable Machine Gun - Serial no. 038598, 7.62 mm Nato cal., 22 inch round bbl., parkerized finish, walnut stock. This is a scarce commercial, fully automatic M1A rifle as produced by Springfield Armory Inc. in Geneseo, IL. Most famous for being a semi-auto only variant of the U.S. M14, a limited number of M1As (believed to be about 125) were factory made as automatic rifles. Blade front and peep rear sights, with a barrel marked “TRW” and “12 63” on the right side, “HRA” op rod, “SA CCA” bolt, “OM-N” hammer and a “HR-N” trigger housing. The proper sear bar and selector switch are installed on the right side of the receiver. Smooth pistol grip stock, with a circled “P” on the wrist and a checkered buttplate with a flip-up cover. With a Pelican-brand hardcase.
CONDITION: Excellent, with 95% plus original parkerized finish, showing mild wear and handling marks overall. Heavier rust/oxidization is present on the buttplate, shoulder rest and rear sling swivel. The stock is very fine, with some staining and wear. Mechanically excellent.
