Exquisite Michael Dubber Master Engraved and Gold and Platinum Inlaid Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Box and Michael Dubber Letter - Serial
no. S21651A, 45 LC cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish, smooth grips. The included Michael Dubber letter lists this revolver as being chambered in 45 Long Colt with a 5 1/2 inch barrel, grip made by Dan Chesiak, royal blue finish, and master lever
“C+” coverage. The barrel features engraved lines at the muzzle and frame with a semi relief floral spray coming from the breech end as well as gold inlaid bands at the muzzle and frame, intertwining lines at the muzzle end, inlaid scrolls and barrel markings. The ejector housing is similarly engraved to the barrel. The frame and cylinder are engraved to match
with semi relief scroll engraving, gold inlaid borders, rampant colt, and scrolls as well as
a gold and platinum inlaid shield with “E Pluribus Unum” engraved on a gold inlaid scroll. The trigger guard features gold inlaid panel outlines with the trigger guard bow having a starburst and gold inlaid center point. The back strap features matching engraving which is entangled with a large gold inlay similar to that of the ejector rod housing. The revolver is signed “Michael W Dubber” on the bottom of the barrel, partially obscured by the cylinder pin. Includes a Colt blue box.
CONDITION: Excellent as master engraved by Michael Dubber, retaining 99% plus blue finish with very limited handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. A fabulous work of art by Michael Dubber.
