letter confirms the .22 Short chambering as well as stating the rifle was received in the warehouse on July 15, 1901 and shipped the same day.
CONDITION: Very fine with 85% original blue finish, moderate slide retraction wear visible and some light surface spotting on the edges. The receiver has 70% original vibrant case colors with the balance aged to a dove gray patina with some scattered surface spotting. The wood is also very fine with some small dings and scratches, and mostly gray patina on the casehardened buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 8,500 - 12,000

Rare and Desirable Winchester Deluxe Model 90 Slide Action Rifle in Desirable .22 LR -
Serial no. 679208A, 22 LR cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, highly figured checkered walnut pistol grip stock. Manufactured in 1925. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, tenth style barrel inscription, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, Third Model receiver with
exposed locking lugs, standard markings on the upper tang, and matching numbers on the lower tang and receiver. 12 groove slide handle and fancy figured, checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber Winchester grip cap, and blue steel crescent buttplate. The left side of the upper tang is
stamped “1111” with the matching assembly number on the end of the buttstock and inside of the buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine with 90% plus bright original blue finish, some scattered small dings on the barrel, some light edge wear. The receiver has some small scratches, and visible cycling marks on the rails. The wood is also very fine with scattered small dings and scratches, attractive figure, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 4,000 - 6,000

Phenomenal Near Mint Winchester Model 90 Slide Action Rifle with Scarce Round Barrel in .22 WRF - Serial no. 851971, 22 WRF cal., 23 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Lyman beaded blade front and elevation adjustable sporting notch rear sights, standard round barrel markings, Winchester “WP” proofs on the
barrel and receiver at the breech, “WRF” marking on front of receiver, Third Model receiver with exposed locking lugs, magazine
tube with reinforcing collar, late style serrated hammer, smooth trigger, matching numbers on the receiver and lower tang, and a small “W” stamp
on the underside of the receiver. 12 groove slide handle and smooth straight grip stock with blue steel crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent with 98% plus original blue finish with only minimal collector type handling marks. The wood is also excellent with only the gentlest of wear. Mechanically excellent. Estimate: 3,500 - 5,500

Very Fine Winchester Model 1890 Slide Action Rifle in .22 Short with Winchester B4 Scope - Serial no. 708398A, 22 RF Short cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock. Manufactured in 1927. Beaded blade front and filler block in the rear sight dovetail, sixth style barrel inscription, Winchester scope blocks and rings installed on the barrel with a Winchester B4 scope, Winchester “WP” proofs on the barrel and receiver at the
breech, Third Model receiver with exposed locking lugs, standard markings on the upper tang, and matching numbers on the receiver and lower tang. The loading port has been widened to simulate the gallery style port. 12 groove slide handle and smooth straight grip stock with blue steel crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine with 75% original blue overall, well defined markings, some areas thinning to a mild brown
patina, scattered surface scratches, and handling marks overall. The wood is fine with numerous scattered small dings visible on the buttstock, and some light edge wear on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with some small scratches on the tube and clear optics. Estimate: 6,500 - 9,500
