Outstanding Marlin No. 32 Standard 1875 Single Action Revolver with Original Box - Serial
no. 7958, 32 RF cal., 3 inch solid rib bbl., nickel finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured from 1875 to
1887 with the standard J.M. Marlin address on the left of the barrel and “No32 STANDARD. 1875” on top of the rib. The serial number is marked on the barrel lug, left of the grip frame, and inside of the left grip. Fitted with blade and frame notch sights, and a pair of smooth rosewood grips. Includes an unnumbered factory style box with “NICKELED” label on the end of the lid.
CONDITION: Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original nickel finish with some scattered very light spotting and handling marks. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with a couple holes and tears, and generally moderate wear.

Fine Early Production J.M. Marlin XXX Standard 1872 Spur Trigger Revolver with Brass Frame - Serial no. 991, 30 RF cal., 3 1/8 inch solid rib bbl., blue/silver finish, rosewood grips. Manufactured c. 1872-1873 with brass frame and the early ribbed octagon barrel marked “XXX STANDARD 1872” on the top and “J.M. MARLIN/ NEW HAVEN CT.” on the left, non-fluted cylinder, and fitted with smooth rosewood grips.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 50% of the original blue finish and traces of the original silver finish in sheltered areas with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina or attractive antiqued brass. The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Scarce Marlin Victor Model Derringer - Serial no. 526, 38 RF cal., 2 11/16 inch part round bbl., blue/bright finish, rosewood grips. One of approximately only 2,000 manufactured between 1870 and 1881. The left side of the barrel is marked with the three-line Marlin address and patent dates and the top barrel flat is marked “VICTOR”. The serial number is marked twice on the barrel, the left of the grip frame, and on the inside of the left grip. It is fitted with a blade front sight and smooth rosewood grips.
CONDITION: Fine, retains 50% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina and some scattered patches of very light surface pitting and the brass shows an attractive antique patina overall. The grips are also fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection.

Short Barreled Factory Engraved Marlin No. 32 Standard 1875 Spur Trigger Revolver with Scarce DeGress Patent Grips - Serial no. 13, 32 RF cal., 2 1/4 inch solid rib bbl., nickel finish, metal grips. Around 19,500 No. 32 Standard 1875 revolvers were manufactured by Marlin between 1875 to 1887. This example has the standard markings and features, has a desirable 2 1/4 inch barrel, and is also factory engraved on 75% of the metal surfaces with American style floral scroll. It is fitted with “Lady Pattern” DeGress grips with a woman playing a tambourine on the right grip, leafy scroll designs throughout, and the patent information on the left side. Francis DeGress of Bloomfield, New Jersey, patented his method for molded copper “pistol handles” treated with acid and then gilded with silver in 1874. Examples of his molded grips have been seen on revolvers of multiple manufacturers and are highly sought out by collectors.
CONDITION: Very good, retains 75% plus of the period replated nickel finish with the balance having flaked to show mostly a smooth brown patina and slightly softened engraving. The grips are very fine retaining most of the original silver gilding. Mechanically excellent.

Desirable Factory Engraved Marlin Little Joker Spur Trigger Pocket Revolver - Serial no. 623, 22 RF Short cal., 2 1/4 inch slab sided bbl., nickel finish, antique ivory grips. One of approximately 1,100 produced between 1871 and 1873. Blade front and notch rear sights, with “LITTLE JOKER” on the top barrel flat, the two-line New Haven address on the left flat, and British proofs on the bottom. The cylinder, barrel and frame all show scroll engraving with punch- dot backgrounds, along with a spiral pattern on the side plate, and zigzags on the top strap. The serial number is on the left of the grip frame and “23” hand marked inside the right grip. Grips are smooth bird’s head grips.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% plus of the original nickel finish with some scattered mild flaking revealing mostly a smooth grey patina. The grips are also very fine with some scattered light handling marks and an attractive age- darkened color. Mechanically excellent.
