U.S. Colt Army Model 1903 Marked Double Action Revolver with Troop G 12th Cavalry Marked Leather Holster - Serial no. 240263, 38 Long Colt cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in 1904 with standard markings and features. Includes a U.S. leather holster marked “TROOP G 12 CAV/55”. The 12th cavalry was raised at Fort Sam Houston in Texas in 1901 and was stationed in the Philippines from 1903-1905.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 90% plus bright original high polish blue finish with some mild edge and muzzle wear, minor handling marks, and a cylinder drag line. The grips are also very fine with some light dents and scratches. Mechanically
excellent. The holster is also very fine with some mild wear. Writer does not recall ever seeing a rig like this!

Long Colt cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured circa 1894. Round blade front and frame notch rear sights with a smooth trigger, checkered hammer and cylinder latch, standard two-line address and patent marking on top of
the barrel, and caliber designation on the left. The frame, barrel, cylinder, and butt of the left grip panel are all stamped with “RAC” (Rinaldo A. Carr) inspection marks with matching partial “776” serial numbers on the barrel, latch, crane, and frame. There is a faint illegible 1894 dated cartouche on the left grip, and “RAC” on right panel. The left side of the frame has been stamped “N.J” just below the cylinder. There is a small removable collection marking on the trigger guard.
CONDITION: Very fine. 70% plus original blue finish remains with areas of edge and high point wear, surface scratches and nicks throughout, and a mostly mottled brown/gray patina on the grip straps. The grips are fine with small dings and bruises and light, legible markings. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection.

Excellent U.S. Colt Model
1901 Double Action Revolver - Serial no.
166068, 38 long Colt cal., 6 inch round bbl.,
blue finish, walnut grips. Manufactured in
1901. The revolver has a high polish blue finish, with
niter blue hammer and trigger, polished hammer
sides and oil finished walnut grips absent of any
cartouches or inspection marks. The barrel is marked
“COLT D.A. 38” on the left side, and has the two line Colt address/1884 to
1895 patent dates on the top, “P” and “R.A.C.” on the underside. The “R.A.C.”
inspector mark is repeated on the back of the cylinder, on the left side of the
frame. The left side of the frame is also marked “L.E.B.”. The butt is marked “U.S./ ARMY/MODEL/1901” and “No/166/068” around the lanyard ring. The assembly number “6068” is stamped on the crane, the inside of the frame and on the cylinder latch.
CONDITION: Excellent. The revolver retains 97% plus original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear, thinning on the grip straps and some minor scattered spotting. The grips are very good with some wear on the lower edges and a few minor dings and dents. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.

Scarce Colt U.S. Navy Model 1909 Double
Action Revolver - Serial no. 52207, 45 Long
Colt cal., 5 1/2 inch round bbl., blue finish,
walnut grips. This pistol is One of only 1,000 Colt
Model 1909 double action revolvers manufactured
for the United States Navy. Showing a fine high polish
blue finish overall, with a set of fixed sights, the two-line
Hartford address and “COLT D.A. 45” on the barrel, “VP” and “3” on the trigger
guard and the Rampant Colt backed by a stylized “C” on the side plate. “N” is
marked on the underside of the barrel and rear cylinder face, and the butt is
marked “U.S.N./(anchor)/45D.A.” and “No. 207” next to the lanyard swivel. Fitted
with a pair of smooth hardwood grips and a Pachmayr grip extension.
CONDITION: Fine, with 40% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray
patina, mild spotting and scattered handling marks and edge wear. The grips are fair, with extensive dings and heavy scuffs. Mechanically excellent.

U.S. Navy Contract Colt Model 1895
“New Army and Navy” Double Action
Revolver - Serial no. 113313, 38 long Colt
cal., 6 inch round bbl., blue finish, hard
rubber grips. This Colt U.S.N. Model 1895 revolver
was manufactured in 1898. The butt is marked “U.S.N./anchor/38D.A.”, “No/12112” and “J.N.J./113/313”. Fitted with a set of checkered hard rubber grips with “COLT” in an oval at the top.
CONDITION: Very fine, with 80% plus of the original high polish blue finish remaining, showing scattered scratches, dings and areas of wear showing a
