left side of the receiver has the standard two-line Winchester address and patent markings ending in 1907 as well
as a saddle ring stud and saddle ring. The upper tang is marked with the three-line model and trademark information, and the serial number is on the lower tang along with “B” at the tail. It is fitted with pinned blade front and
folding ladder rear sights, the latter graduated from 3-18. It is mounted with a grooved forearm, military style handguard, and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate.
CONDITION: Excellent plus, retains 98% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish with some faint thinning
on the barrel band and buttplate, some storage grease residue on the receiver and magazine, and a few small
scattered patches of very light surface pitting on the right of the barrel. The oil-finished stock and forearm are also excellent plus with few very minor handling or storage marks. This is an exceptional example of a Winchester Model 1895 carbine in outstanding condition!

Very Fine Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle in .44 W.C.F. - Serial no. 222356, 44 WCF cal., 24 inch octagon bbl., blue finish, walnut stock.
Manufactured in 1903 with the standard two-line address and patent dates, as well as the caliber marking on the top barrel flat. The upper tang is
marked with the three-line model, trademark, and patent dates, and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It is fitted with a German silver
blade front and elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sights. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
CONDITION: Very fine, retains 75% plus of the original blue finish, 60% of the original case colors, and 70% of the original nitre blue with the balance having thinned to a
smooth grey patina, most noticeably on the buttplate, lever, and hammer. The revarnished wood is very good with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection.
