Flat blade front sight, hammer notch rear sight, barrel pivots to side. Brass frame. Octagon barrel appears to be 30 caliber rimfire. Resembles Morgan&Clapp deringer. Backstrap inscribed with "Dot to C.H.L.". Barrel numbered to frame.

OB - EXCELLENT- all original parts; over 80% original finish; sharp lettering, numerals and design on metal; unmarred wood.

Brass pin front sight, notch rear sight on frame. Bottom of barrel marked "GERMANY" with the Crown/B, Crown G, and Crown/U proof marks on the right barrel flat, and Crown/B and Crown/U on the breechblock. Smooth hammer and spur trigger. Black checkered grips with lanyard loop.

OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.

"B", "U", "G" proof marks on the barrel and frame. Various patent number and unidentified numbers are stamped on the barrel. No makers marks appear. The forearm and grips are checkered. Barrel has vise marks on breech flats. Hammer appears to be cracked, half cock missing.

OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.

Bead front sight and dovetailed fixed rear sight. Linkage style extractor. Tip up barrel with push button side release. Brass frame, stamped steel trigger guard, and smooth grips with brass reinforcements. Appears to be 45 Caliber centerfire. Top of barrel marked "L. DALE)".
