Manufactured in 1888. This is a third model rifle with a blade front sight and Marble's adjustable rear sight. Saddle ring mounted on the left side of the frame. The rifle has a plain straight grip stock and forearm with metal forearm cap and brass crescent buttplate. Action works well, completely refurbished, cold blue finish fading to a brown patina, stock has been heavily sanded.

Heavily cleaned, removing markings.

Missing nipple and internal lock parts, barrel wedge escutcheon, etc.

The rear of the lock plate is marked "HARPERS/ FERRY/ 1848" vertically with the "American Eagle/ U.S." motif in front of the hammer. Stock has been shortened to the rear barrel band, with straight grip and steel buttplate. Bead front sight. Missing ramrod and nipple, barrel has been shortened.

Snider Modified Shotgun 20
This was originally a Snider rifle which was sent to the Colonies. The lock plate is marked "E.P." inside a crescent. 'SNIDER/arrow through s/PATENT" is on top of the breechblock. There are Birmingham type proofmarks on the barrel, action and breechblock. There are numerous unidentified marks on top of the barrel, many of them overstamped. The barrel has been bored to smooth but the sights have not been removed. An attempt was made to rechecker the left side of the wrist but it was not successful.

Fixed front sight with adjustable folding rear sight. Brass barrel latch. Repaired two piece walnut stock with steel buttplate. The initials "JSM" are carved in the left stock.

M1879 Springfield trapdoor rifle with correct low arch model breech block marked "U.S. / MODEL / 1873". The rifle has the three click tumbler. The lock plate is marked with the large American Eagle and "U.S / SPRINGFIELD". The barrel has the correct "V/P / Eagle Head" proof and inspector marks. The left side of the rear sight ramp is broken and absent above and beyond the "3" incrementation. It has the two-piece trigger guard with a sling swivel at the front and smooth trigger. The stock has original metal forend cap, two barrel bands and a blue crescent buttplate. The stock has a boxed "SWP 1882" cartouche on the left side, circle "P" under the wrist, with "23/ F II/ MSG" neatly written in white paint on the right buttstock. With cleaning rod.

Based on the Model 1893 action with a longer loading port, modified five round tubular magazine and smooth bore barrel, this unique shotgun was manufactured between 1929 and 1932. It has a single bead sight, choked full and has a beavertail forearm with finger grooves and plain pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Marlin buttplate.

Blade front sight and "ski ramp" elevator rear sight marked "R" on the side. Low arch breechblock marked "U.S./ MODEL/ 1873". It has the three click tumbler and the lock plate is marked with the large American Eagle and "U.S SPRINGFIELD", The barrel has the correct "VP" proof over the Eagle Head proof with the letter "P" below that. Two-piece trigger guard, smooth trigger, and buttplate without the storage compartment for a cleaning rod. The stock is the correct pattern with a boxed "SWP 1883" cartouche on the left side and single circled script "P" proof in the pistol grip area. The last digit of the serial number has been defaced by the latch.

Manufactured in 1904. Standard address and patent data on top of the barrel, "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" on the left side, "MODEL 1893" on the upper tang, "MARLIN SAFETY" on the top of the action. Equipped with Lyman globe front sight and Rocky Mountain buckhorn rear sight, full length magazine tube, and plain forearm with metal tip and straight grip buttstock with S- style metal buttplate. The round barrel is scarcer than the other available variations.
