Blade front and adjustable rear sight. The rear sight has been bent back and is almost broken away. Plain straight grip stock and forearm with crescent metal buttplate. Full length ramrod with brass tip.

Nice example of an Indian style trapdoor carbine. It has a fixed front and two leaf flip up rear sight. Trapdoor marked "U.S./MODEL 1884" lock plate marked "1873". Top of barrel is marked "FOX STUDIO/ 230"and was probably used in several western movies. Straight grip carbine stock with Indian style tacks on the buttstock and forearm along with "American Eagle" medallion on right side of buttstock. Action is good.
