Receiver is factory roll engraved on both sides with very fine scroll engraving, frontier scenes and a decorative border. The right side has a picture of a large standing grizzly bear and an early Frontiersman trading with Indians. The left side has an early mountain man on horseback leading a pack of mules. Also has a large winged eagle swooping in on a running animal. The stock and forearm have a nice checkered fleur-de-lis pattern. The receiver and forearm cap are silver finished. Barrel is also marked "LEGENDARY FRONTIERSMAN" in silver. The buttstock medallion depicts a frontiersman and Indian fighting.
