OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.

NPRF - NON-PROFESSIONALLY REFINISHED/COLD BLUE, ETC.

The top of the receiver is marked "CARL GUSTAFS-STADS GEVARSFAKTORI / 1916". The left side of the receiver has the serial number and the inspectors mark of "H.K.". It has no sights and some soldering at the breech end of the barrel. The muzzle is threaded, the barrel tapered and a replacement black textured synthetic stock with a black plastic grip cap, black rubber vented recoil pad and sling swivel studs. The bolt assembly is mismatched.

OB - EXCELLENT- all original parts; over 80% original finish; sharp lettering, numerals and design on metal; unmarred wood.

top of the receiver marked with the Chilean Crest over " MODELO 1912", left side of the receiver marked " WAFFENFABRIK STEYR / AUSTRIA". Serial number " C8068" marked on the left side of the stock at the action and the Chilean seal on the buttstock. Mismatched numbers.
