Produced between 1945 and 1950. Fixed blade front sight and adjustable notch rear sight. Serrated slide with model markings on the left side. The left side of the receiver is marked 'MADE IN U.S.A / THE HIGH STANDARD MFG. CO. / NEW HAVEN, CONN./ PATENT PENDING/ .22 CAL./ LONG RIFLE'. The frame is equipped with a serrated trigger, checkered hammer, external safety, and two-tone box magazine. Included is an extra two tone magazine.
