Wood condition commensurable with percent of finish with dings and dents associated with 40% - 79% gun.

Description:

Top break, hinged-frame, round blade ramp front sight with square cut notch rear. Square butt checkered black plastic grips. Lanyard ring. Cylinder number matches frame and barrel. Cylinder marked "S.P.T.54". Frame marked "DI**" on right side.

Description:

It uses the half moon/U-notch sighting system popular at the time. Fluted six round cylinder with unshrouded ejector rod. The frame is marked "R.A.C. and L.E.B." above the left grip plate. "R.A.C." also found on barrel and cylinder. Smooth walnut grips and a lanyard ring. "U.S. / ARMY / MODEL / 1901" and "No. / 1656" found on bottom of frame.

Description:

Standard Colt two line markings on top of the barrel with last patent date of 95. Niter blue trigger. The left side of the frame has "J.E.H." and a partial "L.E.B." as well as the date 1904 and another unreadable mark. "R.A.C." is also on the cylinder. Left side of barrel marked "COLT D.A. 38". "K" and "P" inspector marks on the bottom of the barrel. Butt marked "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1903". Smooth walnut grips and lanyard ring on butt. Initials RCB carved on bottom of left grip panel.
