Manufactured by Wilkinson Sword, this British Commando dagger has a 6 3/4 inch double edge blade finished black and has a brass grooved handle, also finished in black. It comes with the correct leather scabbard with a brass tip and two leather tabs sewn to the back. These tabs enabled the scabbard to be sewn onto or into a tunic. Handle marked with "12" and broad arrow and the scabbard is marked "ENGLAND". Excellent with some wear on the handle exposing the brass. The scabbard is very good, the retention strap has deteriorated, otherwise shows little wear.
