Manufactured in 1985. This is a nice example of a late production Remington model 541X target rifle as issued by the US Army. The top of the barrel has the standard Remington two line address along with proper Remington factory proof markings. The left side of the receiver has the "U.S." property markings over the serial number. Globe front sight with receiver mounted Williams peep sight, also fixed with a large Weaver scope. The stock is a correct late production oiled hardwood version. Complete with sling swivels, extra magazine, and sight inserts.
