Manufactured in circa 1897. With browned damascus octagonal to round two stage barrel with bead front sight and signed “ARMY & NAVY C.S.L. LONDON”. Action with faceted standing breech, blued rebounding back action lock, and trigger guard. Border engraved throughout. The barrel struck with London black powder proof marks. Straight grain 15 inch pistol grip stock including rubber recoil pad, with checkered grip and forearm, the latter with large green horn cap and Deeley & Edge fastener. Weight 12 lbs. 1 oz.
