Reproved in Birmingham in 1935/36. Rifle barrel "500-3IN-55-440 CTGE" for the regulated load. "I. HOLLIS & SONS." marked on either lockplate and "I. HOLLIS & SONS. BIRMINGHAM & LONDON" on the rib. Nicely figured, checkered splinter forend and pistol grip stock. 2 3/4" chamber with ejector, choke measured full, and 14 3/8" LOP. Provenance: The Malcolm King Collection
