Manufactured in 1944, this Remington-Rand shows markings consistent with small arms supplied to Great Britain under the authority of the Lend-Lease Act. "FJA" inspected frame, Birmingham proofs and "NOT ENGLISH MAKE" stamps have been added to the barrel, slide and frame, and "RELEASED/BRITISH GOVT. 1952" marked on frame.
