Description:

The revolver features a rounded blade front sight, Birmingham proofs, Tranter patent markings on the left side of the frame and ejector, "SOPER/READING" inscribed on the top strap flanking the sight groove, and a checkered walnut grip. The case has blue baize lining and contains an oiler.

Rating Definition:

Good with 40% of the period refinished blue finish remaining on the barrel, traces of finish elsewhere, mostly smooth gray and brown patina on the balance, some minor pitting, and general mild overall wear. The grip is very good and has crisp checkering and minor handling and storage marks. Mechanically fine. The case is very good and has mild age and storage related wear.
