This c. 1800 blunderbuss is marked with the maker name "BLEIBERG" on the barrel and lock. London proofs on the barrel near the breech. The bore is estimated and measures approximately 1 1/2 inches at the flared muzzle. Faint floral and border engraving on the barrel, lock, hammer and trigger guard. The barrel and furniture are brass, with an iron lock, hammer, barrel tang and trigger. The stock has teardrop flats.

Good with mostly bright polished surfaces on the brass and some scattered patches of surface oxidation on the iron. The refinished stock is fair with a replacement spliced section at the front, numerous scattered dents and scratches, and some cracks and chips. Mechanically fine.
