Marketed to law enforcement and foreign military clients, the AC-556 is essentially a Mini-14 .223 Rem. chambered rifle configured as a factory original selective fire machine gun. Features fixed blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with a bird cage flash hider on the barrel without a bayonet lug. Standard markings on the receiver, with the safety lever set into the front of the trigger guard and a three-position selector switch (semi/3-round burst/full) on the right side of the receiver heel. The hardwood stock is fitted with a plastic upper handguard and pistol grip, and a side folding steel buttstock. Includes a box (hand numbered, with one digit altered to match, possibly a factory error/oversight) and web sling.

Excellent, with bright stainless finish and light handling marks overall. The stock is also excellent with minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
