Made using a combination of new-made and military surplus parts with a listed manufacturer of Berton Miller of Verona, Pennsylvania, this is a desirable example of the U.S. Browning M2 heavy machine gun. One of the signature weapons of the 20th century and rating among the most enduring firearms in military history, the Browning-designed M2 has gone virtually everywhere and done nearly everything, and while some replacements have emerged for specific niches the M2 as a whole keeps rolling on. Manufactured without sights, with a "spiderweb" style anti-aircraft sight clamped onto the top cover of the receiver, a 5-prong flash hider on the end of the ventilated heat shield, with a set of laser-engraved markings on the right sideplate in emulation of General Motors AC Spark Plug Division nomenclature below the feed tray and additional "BRM" stamping above the charging handle, plastic charging handle and spade grips, and a "butterfly" style thumb trigger. Included with the lot is a incompatible field tripod and T&E mechanism set, possibly for a Madsen gun, which has been modified to fit a different, non-M2 machine gun.

Very fine, with 95% plus factory quality parkerized finish, showing a number of mild handling marks overall. Some components have been refurbished to match the sideplate, with some scuffs, dings and dents beneath the finish. The grips are fine. Mechanically fine. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
