Blued Bohler Laufstahl barrel with dual bead sights on the matted vent rib with 1967 dated German proofs, choke marked "F", and 3 inch chamber. The blued action displays game scenes with ducks on the right and pheasants on the left as well as a lone grouse on the underside surrounded by broad acanthus scroll. Both the dogs and birds are rendered in raised relief gold inlay with a gold inlaid border on the sides of the action, underside of the action, and triggerguard. Fitted with a single selective trigger and manual safety. Mounted with a nicely figured walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock with White Line ventilated recoil pad. Includes a Naugahyde takedown case and extra matching number set of 30 inch barrels with 3 inch chambers, and chokes marked "IM/F". Measurements for the additional barrel set (U/O): bore nine inches from the breech .737/.734 inches; choke constriction .024/.029 inches; minimum wall thickness .040/.040 inches. Very fine, retaining 95% original blue finish with some handling marks on the action and forend shoe, plum hue on the triggerguard, and crisp engraving. Wood is also very fine with a few dings and scratches, some crazing in the finish on the forend, and crisp stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine. Extra barrel set is excellent.
