The barrel is marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND, BRUTON STREET, LONDON" at the center and "30-06" on top of the chamber fitted with ramped beaded blade front sight with adjustable hood, two leaf rear sight (one standing one folding) sighted for 50/100 and 300 yards with gold inlaid center line, and central sling eye. The action has a matted front ring and is fitted with a set of quick detach scope rings holding a Zeiss Diavari-C 3-9x36 T* scope and flag safety with gold inlaid "S". The triggerguard is marked engraved with the serial number, and the floorplate "4 CARTRIDGES". Mounted in a beautifully contrasted nicely figured multipoint checkered walnut stock with ebony tip, engraved casehardened pistol grip cap and cross bolts, initial escutcheon with the initials "E.W.O." and a red rubber recoil pad. Includes a leather sling.

Very fine, retaining 95% plus original blue finish with a few minor scuffs and handling marks. Stock is also very fine with some dings and scratches and a series of horizontal hairline cracks on the right side of the comb and one under the bolt handle as well as crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics and a crisp reticle.
