French grey action with single gold washed trigger and sliding tang safety/selector switch. The action is fully engraved with flowing, leafy scroll patterns surrounding brilliantly gold inlaid scenes of North American pintail ducks, showing two on the left, two on the right, and two on the underside. The underside is inscribed and gold inlaid with "AMERICAN PINTAIL 475 of 500 ANAS ACUTA". The action is signed "R.DEWIL" on the left side at the rear and "J.SCHVOLCZ" on the right side rear. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered deluxe walnut forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with skip-line checkered bare butt. Includes the original box and hardwood display case with shipping box. This gun is number 475 of the series along the following two lots. Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue, gold, and coin finishes with minimal handling evidence and sharp stock checkering. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
