Blued steel barrels with single bead sight (absent) on the matted vent rib, standard markings, chokes marked "**"/"*" (modified/full), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin gray finished action displays the standard Pigeon Grade full coverage floral scroll engraving surrounding scenes of pigeons in flight on the left and right as well as relief carved oak leaf and acorn designs carved at the fences. The action is signed on both sides at the low rear "BA" for and unknown factory engraver. Gold washed single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid "O", "U", and "S". Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with ventilated Pachmayr recoil pad. Stock measurements: drop at the comb 1 9/16 inches; drop at the heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 13 3/8 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 9 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue and 95% original French grey finishes with minor handling evidence along with minor dings and dents in the stock and forend with crisp checkering. Vent rib is loose and there is a light ding on the lower muzzle. Mechanically excellent.
