Manufactured in 1874 with the standard two-line address on top of the barrel and full serial number on the bottom as well as the butt. The revolver has 75% plus of the surface New York engraved featuring Nimschke Shop style floral scroll and basket weave patterns, as well as interesting rarely seen diamond patterns on both barrel flats and the top of the frame. It is fitted with a pair of smooth grips.

Very fine, retains 75% plus of the original nickel finish and 30% of the original nitre blue with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina with some patches of light pitting, concentrated around the front of the cylinder. The grips are also very fine with a few hairline age cracks around the screw holes and otherwise only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
