Manufactured from 1912 to 1935, this is a near mint example of a Type III or Model 4 Derringer. The top of the barrel rib has the Remington-UMC address. It has a manual extractor and checkered grips. The right side of the frame under the barrel release is marked with an arrow and six-pointed star. The barrels are numbered to the gun. The original Remington factory brown cardboard box has the correct end label for this derringer and comes with the cleaning rod.

Near new in box. The derringer retains 99% plus original matte blue finish extremely limited and barely noticeable high edge wear. The hammer, trigger, and barrel release retain 97% original niter blue finish. The grips are also excellent plus with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine.
