This rifle was manufactured in 1910 and has a special order checkered shotgun buttplate. Lyman beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights on a barrel marked with the two-line address/patent information followed by the two-line nickel steel marking followed by "32 W.S." on the upper left flat. The barrel and receiver have a Winchester oval proof stamped at the breech. The upper tang has the three-line model/trade mark information. The takedown latch is marked with the patent date. Mounted on a smooth forearm and straight grip stock.

Very fine. The rifle retains 80% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. There are a number of light to moderate scratches on the receiver. The hammer and lever retain strong traces of original case colors in the protected areas. The wood is fine with a small crack along the grain near the toe and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
