Manufactured in 1901. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address and caliber marking at the breech. The three-line model, trademark, and patent date are marked on the upper tang. The serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It is fitted with a Lyman beaded blade front sight, three-leaf rear sight, and factory double set triggers. It is mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Fine, retains 70% of the original blue finish, strong traces of the original case colors, and 40% plus of the original nitre blue with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina. The wood is also fine with some scattered light handling marks throughout. Mechanically excellent.
