This still life painting pays homage to two of the Wild West's best friends, the iconic Colt Single Action Army revolver and Winchester ammunition. The single action depicted is of the blue and casehardened variety, but, rather than the standard hard rubber or walnut grips, its owner has fit it with an attractive set of stag replacements. The revolver is leaning up against a case of Winchester ammunition with the Winchester logo partially obstructed by the revolver, but with the "W" logo in the upper corners. A Winchester banner is nailed to the wall in the background, and a lock is laying on the table in the foreground. The work is signed "J. Harlan Price" and dated "1991" in the lower left hand corner. The artwork is housed in a beautifully molded ornamental frame measuring 21 1/8 inches x 25 3/8 inches.

Excellent overall, with limited storage and handling marks and vivid coloration.
