The bores are estimated above and flare out to around 1 1/2 inches at the muzzles. Both pistols have brass multi-stage barrels and iron tangs, and rounded brass locks with no visible exterior markings. The cock, frizzen, and smaller lock parts along with the trigger and screws are the only iron components. Both guns have horn tipped hardwood ramrods.

Fine, with an attractive golden aged patina on the brass surfaces, and dark gray and brown patina on the iron. The refinished stock is very good with scattered cracks, scratches and dents, and a few repairs. Mechanically excellent.
