"C. MOORE.LONDON.PATENT" marked on top of the barrel, light engraving along some of the edges, and stars and a crescent moon engraved on both the oval silver wrist escutcheon and pommel cap. A spring loaded "snap" bayonet is attached on the left of the barrel and secured at the tip with a sliding catch located on the left side plate, a walnut ramrod with horn tip is fitted along the right side of the barrel, and with a sliding half-cock safety.

Fine with attractive golden aged patina on the brass, brown patina and some scattered areas of light pitting on the iron, bright silver surfaces, and defined engraving overall. The grip is also fine with a mild dent and a scratch on the left, and some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
