Blued steel barrels with a single bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib which bears the Lyon & Lyon address, light engraving at the breech, 1977 dated London reproof marks, and chambers marked 3 1/2 inches with a single extractor. The casehardened hammer sidelock action displays light scroll engraving with "LYON & LYON" on either lockplate and features rebounding hammers and double triggers. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with blank inscription oval and a checkered hard rubber buttplate. Fine overall, retaining 98% reapplied blue finish, smooth grey patina on the action and lockplates, slightly faded barrel address, a few tiny pits under the finish, a few dings and scratches in the refinished wood, chipping at the upper tang, and overall crisp wood checkering. Mechanically excellent.
