Beaded blade front sight, two leaf (one standing, one folding) rear sight, and a pair of German style claw mounts on the matted solid rib which is marked "L. BAYERL, REGENSBURG" in gold, engraving at the breech area, and chambers with a single extractor. The shotgun barrel has a 2 1/2 inch chamber and choke constriction of .020 inches. The casehardened action displays extensive scroll engraving and features dual triggers (front is single set), cocking indicators, and a tang mounted safety. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, rear sling swivel, and horn grip cap and buttplate. Length of pull 14 5/16 inches. Weight 6 lbs. 11 oz.

Very fine, retaining 98% original blue finish, 40% original case colors, and light handling evidence. The wood is very good, with a crack in the left of the forend and at the upper tang, some chipping along the edges, scattered dings and scratches, and worn but well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
