Blued Bohler steel barrels with a single white bead sight on the matted solid rib, 1972 dated Italian proofs, chokes marked modified/full, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin finished sidelock action displays extensive attractive scrollwork with bouquets on the sideplates and underside as well as a beautifully pierced toplever. The triggerplate is signed "INC. MORD.", information on whom is limited. The gun features bushed firing pins, a single non-selective trigger, and tang safety (added screw blocking from activating). Nicely figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings, including the Anson button release, and pistol grip stock with a Portuguese shooting club sticker, blank inscription oval, and brown rubber recoil pad. Includes a takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved at 18.4mm (.724 inches) and both measured .726 inches; choke constriction .022/.034 inches; minimum wall thickness .026/.026 inches; 1 1/4 inch drop at comb; 1 9/16 inch drop at heel; 13 7/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs. 1 oz.

Excellent, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, and a slight spot of oxidation below the forend. The recoil pad is deteriorating, otherwise the wood is very fine with a few small marks and sharp checkering. The case is fair. Mechanically excellent.
