Manufactured in 1962. The receiver has been factory engraved and signed by "J Baerten ". Both side flats depict a pointer chasing after fowl in a forest, surrounded by exceptional floral engravings, the top of the action is adorned with a bordered portrait of a pointer with a fowl in his mouth, and the bottom of the action and trigger guard are also covered by the floral bordering patterns. The walnut forend and pistol grip are both multi-point, skip-line checkered, and the stock is fitted with a steel buttplate. Includes a Browning leather-wrapped takedown case.

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes, with minimal minor handling evidence and crisp wood checkering. The case is very fine. Mechanically excellent.
